I had a tutor BEFORE Sean that I worked with for about 1.5 months, but I kept plateauing on my Step 2 score in the 200-220s and eventually this tutor gave up on me and left me to pick up the pieces. It was devastating for someone who scored in the 99th percentile telling me I should just consider not taking Step 2. Then I met Sean who was an absolute godsend. He gave me the structure I needed to keep a strict schedule and focused me on evidence based methods for test-taking that would eventually help me boost my score. At this low point, I needed someone understanding, motivating, and passionate at teaching. After I spent most of my savings on my first tutor, I was running at the rock bottom of my bank account, but Sean was still able to accommodate my financial situation to help me get the tutoring I know I needed to eventually score 249 on Step 2 1.5 mo later. Sean gave me the right tools to get consistently high practice scores! I took Comlex Lvl3 three times and failed. I was a PGY-2 and was unable to secure a contract for my 3rd year as a resident. To make things worse, I had a 3 year gap between medical school and securing a residency. To put things into perspective, my last completed board exam was back in 2019, pre-COVID, making it a 5 year test taking gap between the 2 exams. Sean was recommended to me by a fellow resident at my hospital, where he found a lot of success with him. I was hoping he could fix some of the issues that I had. We had 2 months to prep for Lvl 3 for my 4th time. We had one session per week. We had more sessions as the test date closed in.
I was quite weak in statistics so I had to confer with Alex as well, which was completely worth it. It was a quick 2 hour sessions that covered the majority of stats questions.
Through Sean, I was able to found out that my problem wasn’t really test taking anxiety or knowledge gaps(been studying for this exam for almost a year), I was missing a systemic approach to answering these questions and ultimately conquering the exam. Sean was able to rectify the issues and help me build the confidence to ultimately pass the exam.
My advice to other people who would inquire his services: you should texting him 24/7 about anything and everything.

I began working with Sean 9 weeks before COMLEX Level 1. At the time, my practice scores were low, I had zero confidence, and my test-taking strategy was honestly terrible. From our very first session, Sean was in my corner — I could tell that he genuinely wanted me to succeed and that he genuinely believed that he could help me succeed. He created a personalized study schedule (having someone plan and create a schedule for me was HUGE), helped me set up my Anki, identified knowledge gaps, and introduced a test-taking strategy that noticeably boosted my performance within just a few sessions. I went from making 30% on uworld blocks to 60-70% in a matter of weeks.
What stood out to me is how accessible and encouraging he is. Sean gave me his phone number and urged me to reach out with questions every day. His belief in me helped me build confidence in myself almost immediately — which was something I desperately needed.

I don’t even know where to begin! Sean and Alex are by far the best tutors I’ve ever worked with. I found them at a time when I desperately needed help with COMLEX Level 2. It was a “make or break” moment, and after being hesitant for a while, I decided to seek tutoring because, as someone who's generally shy about asking for help, I knew I couldn’t do it on my own. When I first started working with Sean, I was 6 weeks out from Step 1 and pretty unsure if I was on track to passing. From the very first meeting with Sean, I felt right away that he had a well-honed philosophy for test preparation and was ready to help me develop a plan to get ready. Literally the first time we spoke, my confidence began to grow because he not only had a well-thought out approach to helping me prepare but he also understood the health challenges I was dealing with and genuinely cared about how he could best help me navigate those in preparing for Step 1. Every time I worked with Sean, he not only was teaching me great test-taking skills and doing helpful content review for problem areas, but he was building up my confidence that I could not only pass the exam, but do well on it. Sean makes you feel like you've got a great partner behind you the whole time and I saw fairly quickly great improvements in my practice exam scores. By the time I took the exam, I felt so much more confident in my abilities and even when I had last minute test-anxiety, Sean was there to reassure me that the work we had done would pay off and in the end, he was exactly right and I scored well on Step 1.
